Your car. Your livelihood. Your freedom.
A stolen car means more than an insurance claim. It can mean an excess to pay, lost work and disrupted family routines. Mark it before someone takes it.
Warning labels make the identification visible before a thief makes a move. NanoTag is designed to make your vehicle a less attractive target.
Microscopic identifiers are applied at multiple suitable points, so identification does not rely on a single plate or stamping.
Register your kit and vehicle so authorised investigators can connect a readable NanoTag code with its registration record.
Why owners are adding security
Your car keeps your life moving. Recent Australian reporting shows why taking extra precautions deserves your attention now. Start with secure habits and effective barriers, then add NanoTag’s identification and warning labels.
CarExpert reported more than 12,300 motor vehicle theft and burglary insurance claims in Victoria for the year to 30 June 2026.
CarExpert · 11 September 2026 ↗The Insurance Council reported more than 12,300 vehicle theft or break-in claims in Victoria in 2025–26, costing insurers $244 million.

Mark it. Warn them. Make it a harder target.
NanoTags are microscopic metal identifiers carrying an etched code. Mixed into a specialist adhesive, they can be distributed across suitable vehicle components.
Application coverage depends on access and following the instructions. NanoTag does not provide a live location signal.
Attack the profit behind the theft.
A VIN identifies your car, but it does not identify every part a thief can strip and sell. When those parts carry little information linking them to your vehicle, their origins can be difficult to prove.
NanoTag puts thousands of microscopic identifiers across suitable components throughout your car, linking marked parts to your registration. Visible warnings tell thieves the markings are there. That challenges the anonymity they may rely on to disguise a vehicle or sell its parts.
Put the risk in front of the thief. Before they take your car.

Why identification is the final step
Profit is a driver of organised vehicle theft. A stolen car may be resold, disguised or dismantled for parts. When components carry little identifying information, their origin can be harder to establish.
Conventional identifiers do not appear on every removable part. Once a car is dismantled, that gap can make it easier to present stolen components as legitimate stock.
NanoTag distributes coded identifiers across suitable components and links them to your registration. Warning labels put that identification in plain sight before a thief chooses a target.
Thieves looking for profit want property they can move on. NanoTag is designed to raise the perceived risk of taking your car by making its distributed identification known upfront.
The final layer. Across the vehicle.
NanoTag adds the final identification layer: thousands of microscopic identifiers across suitable vehicle components, backed by visible warnings and your ownership registration.

NanoTag adds a deterrent that reaches across suitable vehicle components. Thousands of hidden identifiers, backed by your registration, challenge the idea that a stolen car can simply be stripped into anonymous parts.
Make the message clear before the theft: this car is marked, registered and a riskier proposition.

Worth asking your insurer
Some insurers consider vehicle security features when assessing premiums. Ask your insurer whether NanoTag identification can be recorded on your policy and whether it changes your price.
Any reduction depends on the insurer, policy, vehicle and underwriting criteria. A discount may not be available. NanoTag has no insurer partnership or confirmed insurance discount for this kit.
Do not select “immobiliser”, “alarm” or “GPS tracker” to describe NanoTag. Explain that it is microscopic vehicle identification and deterrence.
What the insurer review found →Before you choose
NanoTag does not immobilise the engine or block key signals. Its prevention role is to put thieves on notice: your car is marked across suitable components and linked to a registration record. Use it alongside locks, an immobiliser and other suitable security. Identification can also assist if marked property is recovered.
An immobiliser helps prevent unauthorised starting. A tracker can help locate a vehicle. NanoTag adds identifying marks to multiple components, creating a link that can remain with marked parts after they are separated from the vehicle.
No subscription is required for the physical NanoTag marking or free Basic registration. Optional Premium registration is available separately. It is not required to use this vehicle kit.
The application adhesive includes a UV trace to help investigators locate marked areas. Magnification is used to read a NanoTag identification code, which can then be checked against registration records.
The vehicle spray system is intended for cars, SUVs, 4WDs and utes. Follow the supplied instructions and surface restrictions. Contact us before ordering if you have a specialist vehicle or are unsure about suitability.
